Wilton Funeral Services try to preserve that standard that was set by our predecessors. To that end, our staff are all local residents who know the local traditions and are familiar with the Bournemouth, Dorset Churches and Clergy. It helps us to help you when you are arranging a funeral service for someone special and who is dear to you.
Meet the team:
Funeral Arranger / Administrator
Julie has been with Wilton Funeral Services since 2010, starting originally in the then newly opened branch on Southbourne Grove. In 2012 she joined the team at their Tuckton branch as a funeral arranger and administrator.
She started her vocation in Funeral Directing in Aldershot, Hampshire in the late 1980’s and attained her Diploma in funeral directing in April 1990. She then relocated in 2004 having been won over by the beautiful surroundings and experiencing the real community vibe to the town.
Julie likes daily dog walks along our stunning coast and never ceases to be thrilled by it’s beauty.
Chris has been with Wilton Funeral Services since 2000, having previously worked as a bus driver and the Mayor of Bournemouth’s Chauffeur.
He says he most enjoys “driving the hearse and being an accurate time keeper.”
Chris has looked after the hearse and limousine at Wilton Funeral Services since it was purchased in 2011.
He likes watching television, especially ‘Dads Army’ and ‘Last of the Summer Wine’ on Gold Channel.
Funeral Service Operator
Darren has been with Wilton Funeral Services since 2016, having previously worked in building and refurbishments.
Darren says he most enjoys “The attention to detail of taking care of our families in a time of need.”
